When the Body Comes Home to God
Please wait briefly while audio loads.
When the body comes home to God
all doors open, walls fall down…
walls fall down.
When the body finds its goodness
in the light of innocent eyes,
windows open in the heart, in the belly,
in the mind and loins;
the opposites kiss;
color explodes
out of white light.
Innocent hands are laid
on innocent flesh:
blood dances,
bones heal,
old wounds open
and darkness dissolves in light.
When the body comes home to God
the spirit is free!
having its own beautiful home,
clean, and open, and clear —
the eternal, happy in mortality.
